As Christians, we have been commissioned to reach out to others – from our next-door neighbors, to our neighbors in other countries and continents – and to share with them the love and grace and truth of the Lord Jesus Christ. Be sure to periodically check the church bulletin and the website for different opportunities to serve precious people in need.
In the community:
Every second Sunday of the month, a group from FBC ministers to the members of Belvedere Nursing Home by holding an early-afternoon worship service and spending time loving those who aren’t able to be with their loved ones. Lunch is served at FBC for participants. Van leaves at 2pm.
Vacation Bible School is a big hit every summer with the kids in the Media area. More importantly, it’s a great opportunity to introduce young hearts to the love of Jesus. More details about this year’s program will be available in May.

New Sight Ministries is a global outreach ministry of First Baptist Church. Teams provide medical care and children’s programs for people in Third World countries – partnering with local pastors, teachers, and missionaries, and helping them to make new connections and bolster their ministries.
