We understand. Walking into a new church for the first time can be daunting. That’s why we’ve created this page just for you, so you know what to expect when you visit us at First Baptist.

Every Sunday morning we gather to worship our Lord through song, prayer, and a time of learning from the Word of God.
- We incorporate both traditional hymns and contemporary choruses into our service, and will often enjoy a special music presentation from the choir or one of our congregation’s many talented vocalists and musicians.
- Feel free to pass the plate. Tithe & offering collection is a time for FBC members to support their church home. Do not feel obligated to give.
- We do not have a dress code at FBC. “Man looks at the outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart.”(1Sam. 16:7) Some people wear a suit and tie, others wear a t-shirt and jeans. Wear what you feel comfortable wearing. Just be sure to dress your heart with a willingness to worship God and to be changed by Him.
The best part of waking up…..You are welcome to come before the regular service to check out one of our Sunday School classes, or just to spend some time getting to know us over coffee and donuts (available for free in the downstairs fellowship hall). Doors open by 9:30am.

Bring your kids!
We offer excellent childcare during the morning worship service. A nursery for newborns – 2 year olds, and another for 3-6 years olds are located on the first floor.Kids in grades 1-6 are welcome to join in the first half of the service and then head out for Junior Church activities during the sermon.
Bring them back on Sunday evenings when we have a lot more in store for kids of all ages! Click here to learn more about our Youth Programs.
Accessibility:
The first floor and sanctuary are fully wheelchair accessible. Assistive listening devices are available for the hearing impaired. If you have any other special needs, please let us know and we will try to accomodate them to the best of our ability.
There are many more possibilities every month for people to gather for study, prayer, and fellowship. Check out our calendar of events and the Get Connected area for information about our small groups and ministry opportunities. Be sure to also take a look around the rest of the site and learn more about our church and all the different ways you can get involved.
Different people prefer different styles of worship. There’s a chance you might visit First Baptist and decide it’s not exactly your cup of tea. That’s perfectly okay. We don’t care so much about adding to our numbers as we do about making sure you’re plugged-in at a church that will help nurture your relationship with Jesus Christ. Our pastor has compiled a list of good, Bible-believing churches in the area that you can also check into.
